LOUIS ALBERT DE BROGLIE (known as the “Gardener Prince”) is a tomato enthusiast. In 1998, he set up France’s National Tomato Conservatory on his Châteaude la Bourdaisière estate in the Touraine region. It hosts a unique collection of 650 varieties built up with gifts from collectors and botanical gardens all over the world.
